Some jobs may take a full day, these jobs are usually quoted for however if your job takes 9 hours you will only be charged for 8 hours worth of work based upon the hourly rate.
Most work will be carried out on a fixed price and quotations are free within a 15 mile radius of our office, if you live outside that radius, a charge will be made to cover fuel, and if we carry out the work this will be deducted from the final invoice.
We will not provide quotations in writing for changing ball valves and other maintenance work, small jobs will be verbally quoted for over the phone or email.
All materials supplied by iPlumb Heating Services ltd will be charged for at Local Merchant Trade Prices with a maximum of 20% markup, although we generally do not mark up Materials, and you pay the same cost that we are charged.
Payment must be made in full by credit/debit card, cheque or cash to the engineer upon completion of the works, and a receipted invoice will be emailed instantly.
If you don't have an email address a printed invoice will be sent by post.
We prefer Payment to be made via Bank Transfer, or Debit/Credit Card. We can take Card Payment over the phone.
We accept Amex, and most major Credit and Debit Cards.
Price is based on an 10 radiator fully pumped system, including chemicals. Please call or use the contact form for a fixed price based upon the number of radiators you have. More than 12 radiators will make the power flush a 2 day job to ensure it has been done correctly.
If you are having issues with your unvented hot water system, like immersion heaters are burning out frequently or you have a poor hot water flow rate. You might have been told that you need to have your unvented hot water cylinder changed, for a fraction of that cost, we can de-scale the hot water system. Please contact us so we can arrange a visit and advise you of the best solution for your situation.
Price is based on a fan flued regular or combination boiler, prices for conventional flued boilers are slightly more, please call or use the contact form for clarification of costs with the details of your appliance.
Each Appliance Service consists of an Internal inspection, checking/cleaning the Condensate Trap, Flue Gas Analysis, Gas Rate, Flue inspection and Integrity Check and a Gas Tightness Test is carried out on the system. Cleaning of any Heating Return Filter (Magnaclean/Fernox TF1). For Combination, System Boilers and some Unvented Hot Water Systems an Inspection of the Expansion Vessel to check the Pre-Charge is also carried out.
All Gas Appliances and Un-Vented Hot Water systems need be checked yearly, we can inspect each additional appliance whilst we are carrying out an annual Boiler Service for an additional £15 per appliance.
Gas Fires require servicing each year and tend to go unforgotten, if you have a flueless appliance this needs to be checked every 6 months.
All parts required for servicing are an additional cost to the rate shown.
All Services are carried out on working appliances.

In additional to the Safety Check on the boiler, we will inspect up to 2 appliances for the price shown. Where there is an Unvented Hot Water cylinder, we will check this and it will be classed as a 2nd appliance. If the number of appliances total more than 3 then and additional charge of £15 will be charged per additional appliance.

If as a Landlord you have a Service Contract with the likes of British Gas, we can still carry out the Safety Checks for you at the prices in Row 4, titled Landlord Gas Safety Certificates, the prices in that row are for a maximum of 3 appliances. You will need to prove that the boiler and/or Gas Fires have been serviced by your contracted service company.
